A is for Adam

Hello, World! Yessirree, I took the plunge and jumped into this crazy, huge world of blogging. Perhaps you'll be interested in my life enough to stop in occasionally and peek into our world. (Ok, I'll stop fooling myself, I know you're really here for the kid.) So where does one start the story when a blog is first launched? Well, we'll start at the beginning, at A.

A is for Adam.

He is our beginning. Honestly, if you'd asked me those first early weeks how I liked motherhood, I would have replied, "..I love it?" It was overwhelming but fulfilling, uncertain but oh-so rewarding as we grew to know him and him us. And now! Unbelievably we have reached and passed the 6-month mark, and what a JOY! I can't even describe to you how full my heart is for him. To see Adam grow and change and learn and understand and problem solve each day is amazing to witness. We are this close to crawling, and I am stunned that my little peanut has grown and changed so much in just 7 months. Here are some recent milestones:

We have 2 lower teeth and LOVE to stand.

We just had our SECOND haircut.

(and Mommy hardly recognizes him now... too short! Does anyone else think he looks more like my nephew Kevin at that age now?

Finally started solids, but not digging the avacado.

And, as mentioned, we'll be crawling Any Day now. Bring on the baby-proofing!

And, lastly, his random trick. I'm pretty sure this is Stage One Delirium on a long travel day.

I make no promises on the frequency of updates. I'll do my best, but, frankly, this post alone took longer that I expected... and I'm a web designer! But we have lots of excitement in the coming week, so I hope to keep my avid readers informed right away. So said the redhead.

  2. LOVE the blog! LOVE the photos! LOVE the videos! :) And it looks like Adam has the same problem Jake does... he can't figure out how to get those pesky arms to move. Welcome to the blogging world... I'm adding you to my list right now! LOVE TO YOU ALL!
