I have to admit, this was one of my favorite Easters. Adam is at a such fun age this year for it. Last year he enjoyed the egg hunt, but this year we added egg decorating. Playing with cups of colored water? Of course he loved it.
Easter morning began with his Easter Basket.
Followed by the Egg Hunt.
The Easter Bunny left m&m's in the eggs... which made for a long hunt. Each egg had to be opened and tasted as it was found!
My little chicks. Proud mother Hen.
After breakfast we headed down to NKY to attend church with Michael's sister Amy and her family. The church has a cross that's suspended above the altar, and for Easter, it was covered in all-white lilies and flowers. It was gorgeous! Such a beautiful representation of Christ's resurrection, and I wish I had taken a photo of it after service. Niece Hailey sang with the choir and after the Benediction anyone who wished to stay gathered at the front to sing Handel's Hallelujah chorus. It was a moving tradition.
After church we gathered with the Williams for an afternoon of family time and Easter dinner, and when the sun finally came out, another egg hunt outside with the cousins.
Notice Adam and Sam's matching outfits. I couldn't resist!
It was a beautiful weekend and a very special Easter. We hope you all had an opportunity to celebrate our Savior's sacrifice with loved ones, too.
