The other day I pinpointed what I love about the Christmas season -- it's the Magic of Christmas. There is just an extra excitement in the air. Everything is so festive and special.
The miracle of the Christ-child's birth. The expectation of Santa Claus. The family togetherness. The special baking and cooking and preparing. The stillness and quiet. The new-fallen snow. The festive carols and traditional hymns.
Everything means just a little more. The mundane tasks take on renewed joy.
And this year, with a nearly 3-year old and a newborn, there will be no shortage of magic around.
