Truthfully, I don't really mind. I loved having a white-out over the holidays, but now that we're on to the new year and returning to normal programming, the milder temperatures are more convenient. It sure makes it easier to take down those outdoor Christmas lights. But here it is while we had it.

In case this is the only significant accumulation of the season, I was sure to get Adam out in his first real snow. We didn't make it sledding or build a fort or make snow angels, so hopefully we'll have another opportunity. We did, though, throw snowballs. Wearing mittens makes this more difficult, however.
While I loved the snowy view from our window, the view from my parents' house was far superior. Look for this to be their Christmas card next year. Heck, it may be ours, too.
And special thanks to our neighbor who snowblowed our driveway and sidewalk for us (which was much appreciated since we don't yet have a snow shovel)!
I love the kindness of others!
